Catie graduated in 2014 from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and minors in Dance and Mass Communication. She graduated with Honors in the Major for her Undergraduate Thesis entitled, "The Girl in 14G: Analyzing Solutions for Vocal Issues Through Vocal Pedagogy."
Originally from the Northeast, her family moved to Miami, Florida where Catie began exploring her love for theatre and humanitarian work. While attending performing arts middle and high schools, she spent 5 years performing and volunteering through the Actors' Playhouse Musical Miracles group at various sporting and charity events, festivals, and hospitals.
Throughout her time at UCF, she was heavily involved with Theatre UCF through mainstage productions, as well as events on and off campus. After her freshman year, she had the opportunity to attend the International Performing Arts Institute in Germany to study musical theatre. The following summer she had the opportunity to intern at the Nederlander Organization on Broadway in New York City. She has been seen as an Equity Principal Performer at Walt Disney World in Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage!, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and Finding Nemo: the Musical. You can also find her at Universal Studios Orlando in Sing It, an a cappella show, as well as singing in Diagon Alley with Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees.
One of Catie's proudest accomplishments thus far is serving as Miss University of Central Florida 2014. In her spare time, you can find Catie snapping photos, enjoying the outdoors, cooking yummy treats, or volunteering in her community.
