Originally from the Northeast, Catie's family moved to Miami, Florida, where she began exploring her love for theatre and humanitarian work. She attended performing arts middle and high schools for Theater, and spent many years performing and volunteering in various community events, from sporting and charity events, to festivals and hospitals.
After her freshman year at the University of Central Florida, she had the opportunity to attend the International Performing Arts Institute in Germany to study musical theatre. The following summer she had the opportunity to intern at the Nederlander Organization on Broadway in New York City.
Catie graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and minors in Dance and Mass Communication. She also graduated with Honors in the Major for her Undergraduate Thesis entitled, "The Girl in 14G: Analyzing Solutions for Vocal Issues Through Vocal Pedagogy."
She has been seen across Orlando stages as an Equity Principal Performer at Walt Disney World in Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage!, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and Finding Nemo: the Musical. She has also appeared at Universal Studios Orlando in Sing It, an a cappella show, as well as Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees in Diagon Alley .
Now a New Yorker, you can find Catie enjoying the outdoors, snapping photos, and cooking yummy treats for @TheGreenGals on Instagram! She is also a proud dual citizen of the US and Portugal.
